Breast Cancer/breast biopsy

Question
My recent "call back" resulted in the following findings:two mildly complex cysts in the upper outer quadrant of left breast about 4 and 7 mm. Additionally, on the ultrasound only they stated: "left breast 4 o'clock 4cm from nipple, there is a tubular density that possibly may represent soft tissue in a dilated duct. I am not certain of this. However, ultrasound guided core biopsy is recommended."
I am scheduled for two needle aspirations (cysts) and the core biopsy (density). I am very anxious about the density. Because it is "soft tissue" and in or near a duct is there a higher likelihood this is cancer? Hyperplasia?
I appreciate your opinion and thank you for it.

Answer
It may be completely insignificant. But we do not know. That is why the biopsies have been ordered. Any discussion on this subject now is pure speculation, even guesswork. To be able to answer I would need to be a prophet. So unfortunately we have to wait for the results of your biopsies. Please do keep me posted!
