Breast Cancer/questions to ask after lumpectomy and sentinal node biopsy

Question
I recently had a lumpectomy and sentinal node biopsy.  Dr. said he got the cancer and that the nodes were clear.  What questions do I ask now? What do I need to know from a pathology report?

Answer
You should ask what the sentinel node biopsy showed. If there was no cancer there no chemotherapy is necessary unless there are some special features with your cancer (HER2 positive or an extremely malignant tumor - in that case chemotherapy should probably be given anyway). If your tumor has positive hormonal receptors hormonal therapy should at least be considered. You should also ask when your radiation therapy is due, if such treatment has not been arranged DEMAND it!
