My age is 23.I had a cyst in my right breast and both of my breasts are tender and fibrous in nature. The cyst has been identitfied as "Fibridoma" and last week it is sent for biopsy. In Biopsy result, it is identified as apocrine metaplasia. I just want to know
1. Now this cyst has been removed. But is there any possibility for its recourrenec.. i mean will it come again and again
2. Is there any treatment available
3. Is there any excersice to reduce the reoccurance
4. Will it lead to cancer
Thank you.
Answer 1. It may reappear but that risk is most probably low. 2. No more treatment (after the biopsy) is probably needed. 3. No. 4. No it will not. This has nothing to do with cancer. But of course like any and every woman you are at risk for breast cancer. Though at your present age that risk is VERY small.
