Question
I am 30 years old, and have pretty large breasts.  Last year I has a mammogram and an ultrasound to decipher a lump. It turned out to me muscle tissue.  Anyway at that time I was noticing that when I was checking my breasts, every now and then when I squeezed my right nipple a tiny pin drop of clear liquid would come from it. I would squeeze the left and 9 times out of 10, nothing would happen although after the mammogram, I did notice it there too. I was told that if it were bloody, brown, or green that it would be worrisome, but clear is not.  My husband said that the breast is basically a gland and that happens.  I have searched on the Internet and some experts say that it is normal, some say that bloody, brown or green is normal.  I am confused. Should I be worried??  It does not happen all the time and only when I squeeze.  It is not spontaneous, get on my clothes or anything. I also notice it in the morning and not later. (I check throughout the day).

Am I in trouble??  Is this normal?  Please help.

As long as the liquid is clear there is nothing to worry about. Such things happen now and then normally. Yes breast tissue glands (milk glands) are in principle transformed sweat glands of the same kind as you have in your arm pits. It is not unusual to have breast tissue in one or both of the arm pits as well. Good luck!
