Breast Cancer/Breast issues

Question
Hello, I am 40 and had felt a lump 6 years ago.  I went in for mammo & ultrasound and they said it was a cyst.  Recently I had pain in the same breast that I could not pinpoint on a continual basis for about 6 weeks. My GP sent me for diagnostic mammo.  I went, then they wanted an addt'l 2 more sets of pics then they brought me in for ultrasound.  After that the radiologist came in and said she was concerned-mass didn't move upon manipulation, is octopus shaped, shows distortion, is palpable and showed definate changes since last mammo.  Biopsy came back benign but she said she is still concerned because it doesn't fit her findings and ultimately wants it removed.  She sent me for a MRI.  The results came back abnormal and I am now scheduled for a MR guided biopsy.  Is she telling me everything I need to know?  What are the probabilites of malignancy from your perspective?  Her name is M. Linda Sutherland @ Newport Diagnostic Center.  I find her to be very thorough and very well educated from what I read.  Please advise.  Thank you.  Tricia

Answer
I agree with her! Based on what you have written it is possible (but NOT sure) that you have a malignancy there. So I think an MR guided biopsy is good and I agree that your lesion should be removed to be on the safe side. Good luck!
