Question
Dear Sir.
I am 21yrs man.
I am having a lump within my chest nipple since 2006. I can feel as i palp. Few years ago my right nipple lump vanished but left one remained.
When i press the knot some water like fluid  comes out from left one but from right one a thick white cream like substance come up.
Also I feel that I am not able to gain correct weight. I am under weight (52kg even i eat a lot).
I seen on internet that extreme weight loss is caused by cancer.
I am very much anxious whether its MBC OR just cebaceous knot.
(i also have tiny knots in ear lobes and shoulder-chest joint muscles).
Please HELP!!
I havent told anybody as i felt bad about it.

Answer
Male breast cancer is very rare! At your age breast cancer - even in women - is also very rare! These 2 facts do make it extremely unlikely that what you have is breast cancer. Furthermore, the description of your problem that you have given me also supports the notion that it is extremely unlikely that what you have is a breast cancer. You simply do not move around with a breast cancer that can be felt like your lesions can be for at least 4 years without obvious consequences. So I do not think you have breast cancer. What I think you have is fibroadenomatosis. While more common in women it does happen in men too sometimes, also in younger men. It is not dangerous. But to be SURE let a doctor check you. Good luck!
