Question
My wife has breast cancer. Mostly DCIS with 1cm IDC, high nuclear grade w/central comedo-type necrosis. She had neo adjuvant treament and then mastectomy and now getting taxol and herceptin.  On her pathology report it mentioned "poorly differentiated carcinoma with Rhabdoid Morphology".  I do not find much info on Rhabdoid Morphology Breast cancer, is this uncommon?  Is this related to Rhabdoid Tumor?  What if any additional steps should we explore?   Thank you

Answer
That is a technicality not related to the other tumors you mention and not important for the prognosis. The important part in the report is the fact that the tumor cells were of high nuclear grade meaning that they were very malignant. Apart from what is being done there is not much more that can be done. Good luck!
