Question
What risks are there that a person who has had removal of one breast some years ago that she gets cancer in the other breast, specially when a transparent liquid leaks out of the other breast? If it is cancer what are the treatments then? Thanks.

Answer
The risk of a new cancer in the other breast is actually in this situation usually somewhat higher than in the normal population - but usually not much so. The symptoms you describe make an investigation very necessary and urgent but are not a sure sign of any cancer. The treatment options are more or less the same as for the first cancer.
