Breast Cancer/Can breast milk help?

Question
My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer a little over a year ago. The cancer had already spread to her a couple spots on her spine and liver. She underwent chemo, radiation, and a mastectomy. A couple of months ago they found a new growth in the liver and she started a new chemo that she is having bad side effects with (they stopped it for a week and admitted her to the hospital to get fluids and regain strength, they just restarted with lower dosage).

I am currently breastfeeding my baby (born in November) and saw recent news articles about breast milk helping with cancer. Does this apply to breast cancer (and/or breast cancer in the liver)? Can it help actually fight the cancer or is it just good support for the body?

Thank you
Kris

Answer
As far as I know your breast milk can not help your mother in this situation.
