Question
I'm 22 years old and for the past 3 months I have been experiencing extreme pain in my breast. I don't know what's wrong, I don't have any lumps in my breast, and from the numerous amount of pregnancy tests that I have taken. I am not pregnant. The pain gets worse by the day. At first my bra would hurt them. Now they hurt if you touch them, I can't even lie on my stomach when I sleep because my breast are too tender. I had a aunt that died as a result of Breast Cancer and I'm scared. Like I said earlier, I don't have any lumps, so I don't know what could be going on. Could you please help me...

Answer
Breast pain of this kind is NOT a regular breast cancer symptom. At your age - even as in your case with a family history of breast cancer - brest cancer is VERY rare. But of course with this kind of pain you must let a doctor check you to see what can be done to help you! Good luck!
