Question
Had excisional biopsy (my second, first was fibrous adenoma many years ago) recently, 54 year old just menopausal female/sister died of breast cancer/grandmother survived it.  What followup would you recommend for results like these from path report, some of which I realize indicate increased risk of bc:
ductal hyperplasia without atypia, sclerosing adenosis, fibrosis, microcyst fomration, duct ecstasia, and columnar cell hyperplasia with abundant ductal and lobular microcalcification and with evidence of pseudoangiomatous hyperplasia of mammary stroma and focal pseudolactational change.  Thank you very much.

Answer
Yes there is a somewhat increased risk of breast cancer in your case. I suggest regularly repeated mammographies - at least once per year - combined with ultrasound breast scans, MRI breast scans and at least needle biopsies of any unclear findings. If these biopsies would be unclear too also surgical biopsies have to be done like this time. Good luck!
