Question
I had a digital diagnostic mammography with ultrasound done, the finding was at 11 o'clock approximately 2 to 3 cm from nipple was a  hypoechoic mass with hyperechoic separation which demonstrates angular margins and posterior shadowing and slightly taller than wide, Another mass at 6 o'clock 1 cm from nipple hyoechoic mass with angular margins. went to dr, and he aspirated very little pus, culture came out to be slight yeast.I am 41 years old and not breast-feeding. I have never had a yeast infection either. I am going back Monday. but what does this mean. I;m scared this could be cancer
PS Impression read: Bi-Rads 4, suspicious two masses

Answer
Cancer is a possiblity. I think you should insist that needle biopsies should be done - by ultrasound guidance - of BOTH your lesions so that a pathologist/cytologist can determine what they are as soon as possible! Good luck!
