Question
I had an area of suspicion on mammogram - repeat mammogram was negative... Ultrasound showed leis ion of 7.3mm possibly inside the duct and suspicious nonbeneign looking lymph node... Recommended beast biopsy... 3 days later go for breast biopsy with different radiologist and she is unable to locate either area of concern... Says everything looks normal...what do you think I should do?   How could it be there one day and not three days later?

Answer
As long as humans (or machinery for that matter) are involved you have to remember that nothing is perfect! My only possible advice is that since this lesion was seen by ultrasound you should ask the radiologist that could see it to do a needle biopsy of it under ultrasound guidance. That is probably the only good practical way of doing it! Good luck!
