Breast Cancer/Breast Diagnostic Imaging Report 2011

Question
Hi! I had a mammogram done along with a Bilateral Screening Digital Mammo with CAD. The mammogram came back as normal. The Bilateral screening report was compared to 2 mammograms I had. One in 2007 and one in 2008.
It stated that the Parenchyma was scattered.
Findings: Benign nodularity in right breast and there were no significant new findings since last 2 mammograms.
Conclusion: Negative. Birads 1
They, of course, recommended a mammo next year.
Any alarm? Thank you for all you do!
Gale Jones

Answer
No there is NO alarm involved with this report at all. Mammography every year is routine and something I too recommend. But your report is normal!
