Breast Cancer/stopping tamoxifen at 2 and half years

Question
I was dx with dcis in August 2008, had 2 lumpectomies with clean margins and 3 weeks targeted radiation.    clear mammos ever since.  the area was 1.3 cm, grade 2, er and pr +.  I have been on tamox since 2009, and last year began having uterine thickening (8mm) so had a d & c which was negative. Again this summer, thickening, and d & C.   I cannot have an endo biopsy as cervix won't open.   I am also extremely fatigued, to the point of having to pull over on my 34 mile home commute from work. I am 54 and post menopausal.    also, some weight gain and dizziness.   When do you think the side effects outweigh the benefit of tamoxifen?  THank you for your opinion

Answer
If I were in your situation I would probably sooner consider to have my uterus (which you probably have no more use of anyhow) removed rather than to stop taking tamoxifen. But of course the choice is yours! Good luck!
