Breast Cancer/Breast Issue

Question
I recently found a small lump under my left breast about the size of a pea.  Did mammogram and ultrasound with no real findings other than a "palpable area in the left breast."  Went to the breast specialist and neither of us could find the first lump in the location it had been.  The specialist did find a lump in the same place in each breast underneath the nipples that he says should be removed.  I felt them too and they are the same size as the first (now missing) lump....about the size of a pea.  The doctor told me some cancers do not show up on ultrasound or mammograms.  Should I undergo surgery to have these lumps removed?  There was no biopsy and no suggestion thereof?  I'm scared to do the surgury and scared not to.  Please help.  Thank you.

Answer
I would prefer needle biopsies of each lump, but perhaps such are not available, Then surgery (local anesthesia) can be done as surgical biopsies by removing the lumps. In that case this would be the only available method to get a result, so do it. Good luck!
