Hello.I found a lump in m right breast and i'm just terrified.I know i need to have it checked quickly,i just need some words of encouragement.My mother or aunts or grandmother didnt have breast cancer(yet).But they have have many cyst,in their breast and other places.I would like to take advantage of all the studys and alternative medicines before and real meds.My question is, I flipped through a book called "The Cancel Battle Plan".The woman said she was dignosed with Breast Cancer and it had spread.She went onto say that she went on a severe juice fast and reversed her cancer.I have been researching nutrition and i see the possible link between cells and certain Vitamins,Nutrients.Can this be possible.

Dear Catherine, you have asked me a straight question so you deserve a straight reply. As a former military physician and police surgeon I'm also a straight talker - maybe too straight! There is a lot of valuable stuff published both as books and on the internet, but also a lot of trash! Unfortunately what you describe belongs to the second category! Do not seek refuge in what you called "alternative medicine" that is a blind alley based on wishful thinking leading nowhere! What that woman has written IS NOT possible! If you have found a lump in your breast you need to have it checked ASAP! By mammography, ultrasound, MRI-mammography and by biopsy. When those results are available it is time to decide what to do - if anything. Most lumps are NOT cancer but any lump may be cancer, so please go and have it checked ASAP! Good luck!
