Breast Cancer/Breast lump - is now lumps

Question
A few months ago I found a very small pea size lump on my right side of my right breast. I went in last month and had it looked at but it played hide and go seek and my doctor said she didn't feel a "lump" but more of a thickening in that area. She asked that I wait a few weeks and come back if it was still there. I went back on Friday 8/24 and not only could she feel it but she stated that there was a "cluster". I am scheduled for a mammogram and u/s on Thurs but my research for information regarding  similar "situations" has returned nothing that is comparable. Could this be a symptom of fibrocystic breast disease or fibroadenema (sp) I am 28 and I have no history within immediate family of breast cancer as well as no breast pain. Just trying to see what other "things" can cause my little lump to be a cluster of lumps within such a short time?

Answer
It is indeed quite possible that this is a fibrocystic breast condition or fibroadenomata (plural of adenoma). Your mammography and ultrasound scan should be complemented with an MRI breast scan and needle biopsies of any unclear lesions. Though of course I can not guarantee that it is not anything more sinister. Good luck!
