Question
Hello,
I am doing a research paper on Margaret Atwood (a fememinist authour) and one of the books I have read focuses on a woman who has had breast cancer. Here is my question, I know there is a techincal term for the condition, or syndrome, or mentality when a patient will think they have fallen in love with their doctor, or caretaker, becuase of the instinctive role that that plays.
What is the term for this?
Sorry, you will have to ask a psychiatrist about this! There are such on this site. This is outside my field of expertise!
A dr. SHOULD avoid ANY and ALL kind(s) of personal relations with his patients except the purely professional ones as they are very bad for his professional ability!

| Comment | Thanks for the response. I really appreciate you taking your time to do so. It also tells me I may be possibly getting the wrong dose. There have been other mistakes makde at the cancer center I go to. They are short staffed at times but the staff are terrific and very patient caring. | ||
