Hi,im a 39 year old male and about 4 years ago i got a lump under my left nipple and it grew and is painfuln if touched.During the last year it happened to my right nipple.Its always tender and sore.I had a mammagram about 3 years ago and said it wasent cancer.Is this something i should watch or is there anything i can do to get rid of it or can i just live with it and thats it.I could find no info on the web (google search).Looking forward to your helpful reply.Im 6 feet and 266LBS. It is not dangerous, but I still recommend that you go to a surgeon to have them removed as they cause you problems.

This is a rather common condition in women naturally, but can occurr in men too. It is due to special hormonal sensitivity that can happen now and then (also men have female hormones though of course not in high amounts).
There are no special complications and surgical risks are small. Going down in wheight will not help.
