Question
My 36 year old sister has recently been diagnosed with a
reoccurrence of breast cancer. She previously had a lumpectomy
and she also had positive tests on her lymph nodes approximately
2 years ago. She underwent both chemo and radiation therapy and
has been on Tamoxifen since her treatments ended. She had a
positive bone scan and biopsy which tested estrogen positive. She
is beginning hormone therapy and monthly Lupron injections. She
wants to explore other treatment options and we have heard
rumors about advanced treatment available in Europe. Can you
point us in the right direction for any possible options?

Answer
I'm sorry to disappoint you but there is no effective(!) treatment in Europe that is not already available to your sister where she is now - if in the USA. What you have heard rumors of are just scams to rob desperate people of their money! Sir I'm a Swede, living in Sweden in Europe so I know what is going on here and there! Sorry!
