Question
My wife had recently been diagnosed with breast cancer with lump of a small tumor(1.8cm). The mammography also showed some scattered calcium deposits in the breast. For that the surgeon recommended for mastectomy surgery as the only solution. I have been reading thru internet that some alternative approach of rebuilding immune system using the natural therapies is in the rise in the states with high  success rate. What is your take on this?

Answer
I'm sorry to read about her and your problems! A 1.8 cm big breast cancer is not exactly a small cancer. It is actually too big for being a good candidate for a lumpectomy followed by radiation therapy. So a more radical surgery in the form of some kind of mastectomy is indeed needed! Even so postsurgical radiation therapy & even chemo therapy may be needed too. Forget about those claims of so called "natural therapies"! There is NO such therapy with ANY well documented good therapy results! Yes there are those who claim they have good results but NO ONE who can give you any well documented evidence that those claims are true and correct! Sorry that I have to disappoint you on this point!
