Question
i had ask you a question earlier on 09/08 about an abnormal mammo and us...told you i was advised to obtain a biopsy but the surgeon suggested starting over with a digital due to dense breast tissue...again reports says birad 4...posterior shadowing...and so on...i had mammotone  biopsy on the mass on the 18th...my question is...which im just grasping for answers...i havent heard from my doctor yet...is there any difference in time its take to come back with benign or abnormal results...i have a sister who was diagnosed with breast cancer at 44...one maternal and one paternal aunt after age 50...im hoping that since i havent heard anything that it is benign and they arent hurrying with this

Answer
No there normally is no difference - unless there is some uncertainty. An educated guess would be that it would be around one week until the answer is available.

P.S. Is your first name Iranian? Sorry for the question, I'm only curious since I have quite a lot of Iranian friends and I seem to recognize the name form.
