Question
I am 32 years old. I always have breast tenderness right before my period. My last period was around the 18th of Sep. My breast tenderness began 2weeks before period and is still here. Usually it goes away as soon as my period is over. Also I am one cup size larger now. My tubes have been tied for 7 yrs now, so I am not concerned with preg. Is this normal and what could be causing this. How long should I wait before consulting a Dr? If that is even necessary.
Period related breast tenderness - even if extended - is in itself not a cause for concern. However in order to put your worries to rest and to be on the safe side you could have your breasts checked including mammography, ultrasound scans and breast MRI scans. It is not an emergency though. Good luck!
