Question
I am 62 yrs. old.  I had a modified radical mastectomy on 1/20/06.  tumor was 5 cm.spread to one lymph node, very fast growing, hormone receptors were negative, Bloom Richardson scale was 3,3,3.  Cancer stage is 3.  I am T3N1Mx. What are my chances of recurrence?

Answer
Depends also on the pathology of the tumour of whitch I do not know much except that it was fast growing - not a good sign - and what more therapy you will undergo. Your tumour was rather large too, 2 inches. I sincerely hope that you are scheduled for both radiation therapy and chemo therapy! Since the hormone receptor tests were negative there is no point in anti hormonal therapy. Good luck! Please do keep me posted!
