Breast Cancer/f/u breast thickening/lump

Question
I wrote previously about having found a lump but the mammogram did not show anything as my breasts are very dense and the us only showed an area of thickening.
I saw a surgeon today who also felt the area but said it was just an area of increased breast density/tissue and was nothing to be concerned about esp. since the mammo and us were clear and I have no family hx of breast cancer. He said there was no need for a biopsy or to be seen again unless I find something different.
Just wanted to give an update and get your opinion.
Thanks.

Answer
Well I have not examined you myself so I can not tell you what my opinion would be. However if I could feel something by palpation I would probably in order to be on the safe side arrange for a thin needle biopsy of it and I would probably for the same reason order an MRI breast scan - it IS more sensitive than ordinary mammograms!
