Question
Hello
I am a nursing student . I want know about method
self-examination  breat cancer ,time for test   and how symptoms  abnormal  examination .

Answer
The American Cancer Society has an excellent little folder on the subject. Try to get hold of it over the internet. It should be done once a month at the same time in the menstruation cycle every time shortly after menstruation - if the person menstruates. Either on your back on a bed, using some cream to make the skin more slippery or in the shower. Compare the 2 breasts first in a mirror with arms down & arms over your head. Then examine your breasts with your hands as I told above. Compare the 2 breasts with each other and with your memory of the last previous examination. Any changes or lumps should be brought to the attention of a dr. These examinations can not replace mammograms however.
