Breast Cancer/swollen lymph gland

Question
hi
I have had numerous cysts in both breasts, and had them drained. The hospital explained the cause for them recurring is hormonal. The last check up was a couple of months ago, where 3 cysts were found, 2 on the left outer, and 1 on the right outer breast. They drained 2, but couldnt get to the third. This was the second time I have needed treatment after finding lumps, all have been cysts. However I now have tenderness in my right armpit, where there is a pea sized lump in the well of my armpit. I have checked the other side, and further to the outside edge i have tenderness, and a few small pea sized lumps. There are about 3. Could this be a re-ocurrence of the cysts, or connected to the cysts? I dont want to keep having to go the dr with cysts all the time, if they will just go away on there own.
thanks
sally

Answer
There may be extra breast gland tissues in your arm pits so it may very well be cysts there (breast gland tissue for milk production is actually transformed sweat glands). But we do not KNOW that right now in your case. So you should let your dr. check you! In fact I urge you to do so!
