Question
hi i was jus wonderimg if i tried to breast feed my three month old now will my body still produce the milk? i tried breast feedin when i was in the hospital and then like 2 or 3 days when i came home and then i didnt try no more. so i was wonderin if i try now will the milk come back and how many days will it take to come back?

Answer
it is possible but not without alot of work. I would suggest getting a breast pump and taking mothers milk tea or fenugreek twice as much as they recommend to help in milk production and start pumping every 2 hours. then, after a week or so, see if you are getting milk and how much, try to latch the baby if you see milk flow there, and then practice with him latching. If he struggles with latching, you might need the help of a lactation consultant or a LLL leader to help you relactate and learn latching. it is possible with commitment. there are people who adopt babies from china at 8 months old and nurse. so this would be alot easier than that :)
