Breastfeeding/baby milk

Question
Our 14 month old baby is bottle and breast fed and 3 weeks ago refused formula and was intense with his breast feeding. But now he refuses both, yet eats well and drinks water. He has a bad cold and we suspect teething. I would like to know how many days should past before we should be concerned that he has had no milk? Is this something you have come across before?

Answer
you dont have to be concerned at all unless he is refusing all food and liquid for a couple days.  When he is ready he will ask for the milk. whichever he prefers . if you are real nervous, express some breastmilk as it will help him fight his illness faster, put it in applesauce or baby cereal, potatoes etc... and then he will get the milk he needs, antibodies for his illness and some food too.

good luck !
