Question
hi,
my son is 4 months old now. till now i have not given anything other than my milk, it is sufficient for him. he is around 7kg and 64cms... and is a very active baby.
since yesterday he has got little cold and he has recoverd a bit now, he is refusing my milk and he will try to keep his finger on his mouth always.this is bothering me a lot. my breast is becoming hard because of excessive milk.
and also if i give my milk separately using bottle, then he drinks.
main thing is he doesn't want to put his mouth to breast nipple
please answer me soon.

Answer
It sounds to me as though it is just hard for him to breathe while nursing being that he has a cold. Keep offering the breast over and over and over. Pump the  excess milk if he refuses and feed it in a bottle. and keep offering the breast. he should  easily go back to it as he has been nursing for a long time.

I hope that helps :)
