Breastfeeding/8 month old getting enough?

Question
I have an 8 month old who has recently lost interest in nursing and has little interest in the bottle.  In the last week he nurses for about 5 to maybe 10 minutes and it is a battle to get him to nurse at all.  He is eating solids and I offer the breast before each meal.  I'm concerned that he isn't getting enough milk and that he is overeating to compensate.  Should I be concerned?

Answer
nope. Just follow his lead. Nurse him as he desires, his body knows him best. Its very common at his age to find more social things interesting than nursing... very developmentally normal. He likely gets what he needs in the first 5 minutes of nursing anyway. after that its like topping off... He is going to get all he needs :)

I hope that helped!
