Breastfeeding/milk

Question
My daughter is 10 months now and she is exclusively breast fed. I work full time and this past month, my average milk per pump   has been reduced to 3-4 ounces. At 7 months, I tried to complement with formula, I tried 3 different brands and she hated them all. She has started to eat some solids but she still wants lots of milk. What do you recommend I should do? Can I start her on soy milk maybe or something that is not as harsh as cow milk?
thanks
Mercy

Answer
I would start her on juice not milk. avoid soy which can cause digestive issues, and milk that can cause allergies. Plus, like you said, she likely wont like them.

she is 10 months old, and will get as much out of nursing as she needs. pump as much as you can and give her that. at 10 months she can make up the rest with juice ( apple or grape , watered down... you don't have to buy baby juice. just buy regular juice and add 50 percent water.( that is what baby juice is, just cost more ) and give her other things in her diet for nutrients. the breast milk will still be primary..

This way, she will still get the fluid intake she needs, the nutrients from breastmilk and complimenting by other foods like fruits and veggies :)

Good luck!
