Question
Hello, i have a son who is 4 months old now and im still trying to breastfeed. He stopped breastfeeding at 9 weeks but with alot of work managed to get him back to the breasts, now he is refusing to take the breast at all. My milk supply is nearly gone now and really want him bf until a year old plus. The omly problem i have is time as he is one of 5, i have a7yr old, an 8yr old a 3yr old and a 2year old and none of them were bf so i really want this to work. Any help please and how can a seriously increase my milk supply.
Thank you Kelly.

Answer
to increase that supply you can get a pump and pump every 2 hours, nurse as much as you can, and feed him only through a SNS. supplimental nursing system, which you can purchase from most lactation consultants. this helps him nurse only at the breast and know breasts equal food. you can take mothers milk tea and fenugreek herbs to increase supply as well.  its not going to be easy short term because of the number of children you have, however, in the long run, it will be much easier !

good luck!
