Breastfeeding/Restarting Breastfeeding

Question
Hi,
I had breastfed my daughter until she was 3 month old. After that I have been pumping exclusively because she wasn't able to nurse because of reflux issue. She is 5 and a half month old and her reflux is under control. Now I desperately want to restart directly on the breast.I tried couple of times but it seems she doesn't like the taste of my breast and when I try to put Nipple in her mouth - she makes face as if she tasted something bad. Any suggestions.

Answer
Hello,
I apologize for my late reply as I lost internet connection at home.
I guess your baby got used to the plastic texture on the bottle's nipple and is finding your nipple's texture quite unusual for her.
Try feeding her from your breast for a whole day without offering any bottles.  She will eventually feel hungry and feed.  Pump through that day as well since she might not get much milk in the first few feeds and you don't want your milk supply to go low.
Best of luck.
