Breastfeeding/milk supply in evening

Question
I have a 4 month old.  My milk supply is fine during the day, and she seems content.  Come evening, I can't seem to keep up with her.  She does want to nurse more often, but it seems like it's because of my supply.  Any suggestions of how to build it up, or what could be causing it.  I fill like a gallon of milk that is running out.

Answer
hello :) you are prefectly normal... your baby is doing what is called cluster feeding. it most often happens at night and they nurse much more frequently :) over time it gets easier, but rest assured there is nothing wrong with your milk supply...  it is perfectly normal ! expect soon also for your breasts to not fill up as much as they did at first too. this is normal and should not concern you... your breasts are just becoming more accustomed to nursing and they are suppose to do that!  as long as your baby is growing and having wet diapers, then all is well with your supply!

Hope that helped!
