Question
I was breastfeeding fine today. When all the sudden I got a lump in my breast. Now it hurts it's bigger and I tried to pump, message, warm water... Wha eles can i do.Am in lots of pain

Answer
sounds to me as though its a clogged duct. you can continue the warm compresses for a few minutes then use olive oil while massaging downward towards your nipple. It will be painful, continue doing that esp every time you nurse and also while you pump for the next 24 hours. even if it seems to have gone away, continue on a while after that to make sure it continues flowing freely.

good luck!
