Question
I have a 21 month old son, who eats only fruits, vegies, some pastas. My doctor keeps telling me to keep nursing, but from experience with my now 12year old son( I had to send with his godparents) he didn't want to stop. My girls weren't as hard.  I have gotten rid of am and afternoon feedings by just letting him cry, which was hard.  But some early mornings he wants to nurse and bedtime( he only nurses for about 1min and is sleep.  Also I have to bribe him to drink his soy milk( he has a milk allergy).    Please help. Thanks  Wilhelmina artis

Answer
your doctor is right. Keep nursing. the longer you nurse the better for both of you. Children will naturally wean between 3 and 5. rarely every get to 5. but I promise he will stop eventually. when it is right for him.

good luck and congrats on getting so far! be PROUD :)
