Breastfeeding/green milk

Question
The last 3 days my breastmilk has been bluish green no white to it at all. I don't eat many green foods and I can't think of what else it could be. I've heard that it gets that way when running low on milk and I have only been able to nurse 2-3 times a day the last 2 weeks and my many is only 3 months old. Do u have any ideas?

Answer
Do you mean after it has settled? It is very normal for milk to have a bluish tint to it. Usually when it settles the cream part comes to the top and the bottom looks more blueish. I can see how people would feel it looks green at times too. However, it isnt anything that would concern me.  I have never heard that it gets that way when milk is running low. Your body will make the milk you demand of it. If you nurse more, you will make more. simple as that. :)

I hope that helped ease your mind.
