Question
My daughter is 3 weeks old, I'm breastfeeding only, I developed a milk cyst on my aureole it is painful while she feeds, can I do something for the cyst to go away? I am also getting a low fever constantly, i am not sure if is normal.

Answer
low grade fever is not normal. you may be getting what sounds like a clogged duct or mastitis. You want to see a lactation consultant to get a diagnosis as to what is going on and what to do about it. Most OBGYN's do not know. Seeing an LC would be your best choice!

Sorry I could not have been more help. I cannot diagnose but I can tell you it isn't normal. Common, maybe. but not normal.

best of luck. !
