Breastfeeding/nursing to sleep

Question
hi do you think it is negative to nurse baby to sleep for any reasons?thanks gia

Answer
no, I don't. In fact, it is better for the baby's brain development to have sleep be soothing. The only down side is that people will tell you that you are spoiling the baby, which isn't really what is happening, you are acutally just meeting his needs. something you want to do while the baby is young, and secondly it might be a habit that you yourself don't like as you have to be there with them while they fall asleep when you think you could be doing something else. When reality often says the opposite. Even if you put the baby down and it starts crying , you still get nothing done. or you have to keep going back into the room. Your better off just nursing to sleep, save the time energy and enjoy the blissful moments of the little one as soon they wont be there :)
