Question
My son is 3 months old and I have been nursing him for 3 months. After I had him (by Cesaran Section) I went back to my prepregnancy weight. But now I weigh as much as I did while I was  pregnant and it is very noticeable that I have been gaining.I have not been eating that much more but I do drink alot more mostly water.I wanted to start working out but my mother told me that it will affect my milk supply. Is she right?I would really like to know why I am gaining so much weight(about 15 pounds since his birth).Could there be something wrong with my body?

Answer
If you are concerned with something that might be wrong, you can call your doctor and maybe have your thyroid checked or have them run blood tests. I unfortunately cannot diagnose that. However, I can tell you that working out will not deplete your milk supply. you can absolutely work out and live a healthy lifestyle. Stay hydrated and you will be fine :)

Good luck!
