Question
My son will be be 4 weeks on May 6th. And ever since I started breastfeeding him he always farts loud and long and its like he always has gas with no matter what I eat. I have not touched any food that normally gives me the farts bad since I had him. He's always fussing the farts a lot all at once feels better for just a little bit till after he eats again the it starts all over. I have been drinking milk and eating some cheese cause my OB said to do so so he can get the calcium and vitamin D. All I'm taking is prenatals, 2000 milligrams of Vitamin C and high blood pressure pills my doc prescribed. Please help me.

Answer
All babies have gas. this is a normal function. they are loud, long and often sound explosive. there is nothing wrong with you or the baby. In fact, everything is great.  At 6 weeks sometimes it even gets worse and the gas can become quite smelly. This is all normal :)

So, take deep breaths! all sounds good!
