Breastfeeding/Re- lactating

Question
Hi. My daughter is 5 months and I decided to re-lactate, try again. When she was born I had a low supply and trouble getting her to latch. My doc said the milk would come in but before it could I put her on formula and I got on the pill. I've been told that I CAN re-lactate. I've been off the pill for 3 weeks now and pumping all the time. But I can still, barely, only get colostrum. Even then it comes to the surface, hardens and thats about it. Should I stop? Will the milk ever come through?

Answer
There is alot more involved than just pumping and hoping. Here is a link that will give you a much better start and way to choose what will work best for you.
