Question
i have a four month old baby who i am breast feeding. but since last week i am realising that my breastmilk supply is deteriorating and my baby seem to be uninterested in sucking. is there a way of improving/increasing my breast milk

Answer
Hello! Eating more fiber can help increase your supply whether you take more fiber through food or through metimucal or fiber type supplements. You can also try suppliments like fenugreek and mothers milk tea often sold in nutrition stores.

At 4 months old it is common for babies to show more interest in social behaviors as well as your breasts to not feel as full as they used to as your body gets used to the amount of milk you are making currently. So please know this is normal. Your baby has mastered breastfeeding and as long as the baby is having wet diapers and poops, then the baby is getting enough.

Good luck!
