Breastfeeding/Is it still helpful?

Question
Hi,

I just delivered a baby girl 6 months ago and my baby girl is now on 100% breastmilk.

Sometimes when there is excess, I give my breastmilk to my son, who is now 7-years-old. My doubt is will my current breastmilk provide some nutrition to my son? Is my current breastmilk helpful to my son? I read from somewhere stating that the content of breastmilk adjusted according to the requirement of the baby. In other words, my current breastmilk may mean the best for my 6-months-old baby girl but not my 7-years-old son. The passage further states that the only function of my current breastmilk is to release the 7-years-old kids from being thirsty without extra nutrition. Wonder how true are these information?

p/s: I really hope that my current breastmilk does provide some nutrition and/ or strengthens the immune system of my 7-years-old son (regret to say that my son was not having 100% breastmilk when he was a baby).

Thanks!

Answer
In my opinion I dont think your son is getting alot of nutrition from the milk as his age, however, it is boosting the immune system for sure. Breastmilk is used in many ways. It kills infections, it has proven to kill 42 types of cancer. NOT in babies but adults. So, it is most certianly not harming him. and will have more benefit than anything else he could be drinking.
