Question
My son will be 7 months old on the first.  I notised over the last couple weeks my milk supply has been decreasing and then this morning I woke up to my period.  Is this normal and is there anything I can do to increase my milk supply?

Thanks,
Tammy

Answer
This is normal, actually the milk becomes more concentrated and the baby nurses more efficiently at this time. You don't really need to do anything to increase your supply unless he is giving you indication that he is not thriving  ( not having enough wet diapers, not gaining weight etc )

but you can increase your fiber, drink mothers milk tea and or take fenugreek. All these will help increase supply if you feel the need too. Nursing as much as he wants is typically the best most efficient way to get more milk :)
