Question
my baby is 5 month old & she is breastfed since birth.last week when i went out on an emergency, she is fed with buffalo milk.since then she has been releasing loose watery green stools 5 to 6 times a day.on doctors recommendation,we gave her lactic acid bacillus(sporlac )powder.but no change has been observed.can u plz help me out.

Answer
You need to start breastfeeding her only with your milk and that issue should go away. I know nothing about buffalo milk other than it was intended for baby buffalos, not baby humans. Just as baby buffalos would not find much use in human milk. We don't use lactic acid here in the us so I am unsure about that as well. BUt only after a week you should be able to nurse the baby yourself and hope it clears up.
