Question
hello my cat seemed like she is prego for a while and now she isn't acting like that. her tail is sticky with some substance and it has been there for a while.she is only staying in my moms room. she only leaves to eat and sleeps day and night in there.

does this mean that she could've already had her kittens or she is getting ready to?

Answer
Hi Kasadee
Well normal pregnancy in a cat lasts for 65 days from the mating until the kittens are born. So first thing how long since the mating. If it is near the time then the substance is the birth plug meaning that she is due to give birth any time NOW
If she is staying in one place again this suggests birthing is imminent
You need to watch her and make sure that she is not stressed. Also if you get chance fell her tummy and see if you can feel any movements, this will be the kittens.
If you have any concerns then get her to the vet as soon as you can

Good luck with her
