Question
QUESTION: hello i was wondering how to know if my cat is in labour?

she has been dialated for 2 days and she has been laying on her side alot and licking her down side.i need more info because i don't know what to do!!

ANSWER: Hi kasadee
If this is her due date that is 65 days after she mated then she is due
She may well be suffering from something called inertia
I would suggest if she has not had the kittens by now take her to the vet. He may recommend giving her some drug like Oxytocin to encourage her into labour

QUESTION: she is acting better now but she still hasn't had her kittens yet.(we don't even know if she was prego. she mated with her brother)

Answer
If you feel her tummy and see if there is a mass there, that could suggest kittens. Of course if you have any doubts then get your vet to do a scan, it is worth the cost just to be safe.
I would also suggest not allowing her to mate with her brother, it is too close and could lead to defective kittens
